Together with Christian Girard, Alain Guiheux and Patrick Canel he established a work group for urban research in 1982, which has carried out numerous city design and urban culture projects in Abidjan, Kinshasa and Douala.

He was appointed teacher and project leader at the Ecoles Nationales d’Art et de Design, where since 1997 he developed connections between professional activities and teaching through the creation of a work studio and a living studio.

Since 1995 he has been working on the relationship between design, heritage and craft. He initiated the ‘Heritage-Design’ group at the Institut Supérieur de Formation for traditional crafts in Fez, Morocco, and he has been the driving force behind the workshops at the Institut des Arts Traditionnels de Fez.

In 1993 he was one of the founding members of Intégral Concept, an interdisciplinary design group that currently encompasses 7 international studios (Paris, Marseille, Milan, Zürich, Québec and Rabat). Each studio is active in the fields of production and training.

Between 1997-2004 he was adviser to the Musée de Science in Caracas, Venezuela, where he managed the development of exhibitions and was responsible for establishing its museography, scenography and design departments.

With the establishment of Intégral Studio in 1998 – a studio for scenography – and i.e. production in 2002 – a production company for events and exhibitions – the Intégral group provides solutions worldwide for the planning and design of spaces, objects and signs.

In 2004 and 2005 Philippe Délis was the adviser and artistic director of the pavilion for the Andes countries (Venezuela, Peru, Bolivia, Colombia and Ecuador) in the international exhibition in Aichi, Japan, where he was awarded a gold medal for the joint pavilion.

In 2005 he established the Intégral studio for architecture, design and scenography in Rabat.
